Course Overview
This GLOMACS Achieving Best Evidence in Criminal Investigations training course is a great chance for law enforcement officers and staff who want to improve their ability to investigate all crime types efficiently and effectively from basic theft cases through to serious and complex inquiries. - Reactive and Proactive Crime Investigations
- Human, Technical, and Financial Resourcing
- Risk Management and Community Impact
- Basic Crime Investigation through to Serious and Complex
- Forensic and Specialist Support
- Models for Interviewing i.e. PEACE – Prepare/Engage/Account/Closure/Evaluate
- Special Measures at Court, i.e., Video Link, Screens, Anonymity, and Security
- Suspect Identification
- Working with Prosecutions, Case Building, and Case File Management
Certificates
- On successful completion of this training course, GLOMACS Certificate will be awarded to the delegates
- Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE) : In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsor, one CPE credit is granted per 50 minutes of attendance
Accreditation
GLOMACS is registered with NASBA as a sponsor of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. NASBA have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.
