Course Overview
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) or more commonly known as drones are playing an ever more important part in operations for the commercial industry, supervision companies as well as the government. As with anything, things modernize and develop. Today, things are moving faster than ever, and new ideas, methods, and technologies are entering the industry every year.
To exemplify this, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles/Systems (UAV/UAS) are used daily, worldwide, for transportation, job site monitoring, supervision, security, and other potential features and more and more industries are introducing the drones as a part of their everyday work. The Drone Operations online training course is designed to help the industries to introduce the drones and use them to the most optimal effect.
This GLOMACS online training course will highlight:
- How to use the drones for a wide variety of roles (survey, monitoring, security, etc.)?
- Maximizing the use of the drones for multiple departments or companies
- Drone usage legal and operational issues

DAY 1 to DAY 2:
- Drones and the legal basis for their use
- Different types of drones
- Drone operations
- Drone data collection
- Drone usage in different fields and industries
- Preplanning or pre-construction survey
- 3D VIEW and 3D models (Point Clouds)
- Operations and Maintenance Management
- Real-time monitoring
- Monitoring productivity and accountability on-site
- Safety and Cost control
Certificates
- On successful completion of this training course, GLOMACS Certificate will be awarded to the delegates
- Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE) : In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsor, one CPE credit is granted per 50 minutes of attendance
Accreditation
GLOMACS is registered with NASBA as a sponsor of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. NASBA have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.
All Training Seminars delivered by GLOMACS by default are eligible for CPE Credit.
