- Bulk oil and gas storage.
DAY 3: Productivity and Costs
- Fixed and variable costs
- Typical costs involved
- A model for understanding the roles of productivity, utilisation, and performance
- Setting productivity and cost targets
- Calculating capacities and throughputs
- Planning resources and processes
- The importance of having measurements and key indications of performance.
- Technology in the Warehouse
- Purchasing and warehousing
- Use of RFID in an advanced warehouse
- EDI, EPOS and JIT
- Productivity and performance measurement aligned to oil & gas
- Setting productivity and cost targets
- The importance of having measurements and key indications of performance
- Bar codes and scanners
Certificates
- On successful completion of this training course, GLOMACS Certificate will be awarded to the delegates
- Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE) : In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsor, one CPE credit is granted per 50 minutes of attendance
