Course Overview
Many projects are managed and performed in an inconsistent ad-hoc fashion. Having awareness and understanding of standard generally accepted project management practices enables managers to establish consistent structured techniques that promote successful project performance.
This GLOMACS Improving Project Management Skills training course is intended for business professionals who currently work on projects or are occasionally assigned to work as project team members in any business work areas. This GLOMACS training course is designed to improve delegate’s project management skills by teaching and reinforcing world-wide standard project management techniques. A focus is placed on understanding project management concepts, project launch, planning, estimation, scheduling, reporting, monitoring and completion.
This GLOMACS Improving Project Management Skills training course will also cover the highlights of quality, risk and communications. The entire course content is compliant with the ANSI standard “Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, fifth edition, (PMBOK® Guide)” of the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.

- Thorough review of the five project management process groups
- Participate in a practical exercise that will reinforce core project management techniques to launch, plan, report, monitor and complete a project
Training Outline
Module 1: Projects & project management
DAY 1 to DAY 5:
- Fundamental concepts of projects and project management
- Project management skillsets, organization structures and lifecycles
Certificates
- On successful completion of this training course, GLOMACS Certificate will be awarded to the delegates
- Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE) : In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsor, one CPE credit is granted per 50 minutes of attendance
Accreditation
GLOMACS is registered with NASBA as a sponsor of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. NASBA have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.
All Training Seminars delivered by GLOMACS by default are eligible for CPE Credit.
